Cricut Mania's 12 Days of Christmas Celebration.... Day 5

Hello again!  Wow, I'm doing good at keeping up with my blog lately!  YAY for me!  Feels good to be back and to see everyone's fabulous creations!

It's been pretty hectic around here and I definitely don't see things slowing down until way after the holidays.  Spent the morning volunteering for my son's school at 'Santa's Workshop'... which I'll be doing a few more times this week.  It is quite amusing to watch these little ones shop for their families.  Brings back memories of my elementary school days.... the days where I bought my dad soap on a rope and my mom little star pins for her to put on a beret hat she used to own.  lol!  And to think, all these years later, my mother STILL has those silly little star pins.  I also did a little more shopping today, mostly shopping for all of our animals food... they all seem to have run out at the same time.  We have 4 dogs, a miniature goat, miniature pony, and a bearded dragon!  Pretty busy household!

Well, for Day 5 I made a simple little tree ornament to add to my son's teacher's Christmas gift box of goodies.  Rather than giving her one gift, I thought of putting together a box of a variety of small gifts.  Enjoy my newest creation and I hope that you all have a wonderful week!  If it is FrEeZiNg where you are, like it is here in TX lately, keep warm! brrrrr!

Cricut Mania's 12 Days of Christmas Celebration.... Day 4

Another rainy rainy day here in North TX!  Oh how we've needed this here.  I hope this finds you all having a FaBulOuS Sunday.  It has been quite a lazy weekend for me with all of this rain, but I was able to craft some today just in time to post!  Here is a poinsettia flower that I put together using, one again, CTMH's Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  I had seen this online a while back, cannot remember where, and decided to give it a try.  It was quick, easy, and turned out GREAT!  I'm still not quite sure what I'll be doing with this poinsettia, but I am sure that I will eventually come up with something!!!!  Enjoy!

Cricut Mania's 12 Days of Christmas Celebration.... Day 3

What a gloomy, rainy day here in TX!  Not that I mind at all... we are still in need of some serious rain in these parts.  Oddly enough, rain puts me in a great crafty mood!  Well, today I am sharing with you my Day 3 project.  I picked up a few $1 wooden frames this past week at Michael's.  I will be altering them to give as gifts.  The whole process is pretty easy and does not take too much time.  Then again, that all depends on how elaborate you are wanting your frame to look.

I altered one this morning for a friend, keeping it fairly simple, using CTMH's Sonoma B&T papers as well as our Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  As the owner of 30+ Cricut cartridges, the Art Philosophy cartridge seems to be my 'go to' cartridge lately.  And I find the different 3-D flowers on it to be just GORGEOUS!  Here's hoping that you are all having a blessed day and I hope you enjoy this frame!

Roses were cut at various sizes using CTMH's Cricut 'Art Philosophy' Cartridge
'Friend's' was cut at 1 3/4" using my Cricut 'Lyrical Letter's cartridge as well as my Gypsy to weld them together.  I also added some CTMH Liquid Glass to make it stand out a bit more.

New SPACIOUS Craft Table!

Hello all!  I just wanted to put up a quick post of my new craft table that the dear hubby built me right before Thanksgiving.  After searching and searching online for a table that would fit my taste and NEEDS (LOTS OF CRAFTING SPACE), my hubby suggested that he just make one for me.  A lot of the craft tables I found online were either to small, didn't have enough storage, or just had RIDICULOUS price tags!  So we took ideas from a couple of tables I found online and came up with this!  The table top measures 4ft x 6.5 ft (big enough for four people to craft away with plenty of work space) and it consists of 12 cubbies total all around and 6 shelves, along with TONS of space underneath.  PLENTY of storage for this little lady to store a lot of her scrappy items!

The table took my hubby a day to build and then it took us another day to paint it all.  So we basically knocked this project out in a weekend!  He is now working on 4 stools for me to go on both sides of the table as well as shelves, and a book spine shelving unit.  I'll be sure to post those once they're completed.  All in all, I absolutely LOVE my new craft table and am so very thankful for my handy hubby!

That is my pretty princess showcasing my AWESOME craft table!  I LOVE that it is tall enough for me to scrap while standing.... I tend to do that A LOT and won't have to kill my back now!

On the 2nd Day of Christmas.... We Have Magic Reindeer Food!

So sorry to post this so late!  It was scheduled to post while I was crafting away at The Little Blue House, but as you can see... that DIDN'T happen!  Here is a quick project I made earlier this morning for Day 2 of my '12 Days of Christmas Celebration'.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Magic Reindeer Food idea and so does my son!  It makes a terrific gift for children.  This is a very quick project that you can throw together in no time. It consists of oats, sprinkles, and colored sugar crystals. Aside from that, I was FINALLY able to break in my CTMH 'I Believe' stamp set that I received last week!  It is such a beautiful stamp set and I cannot wait to create other projects with it.  I hope that you all enjoy!  Have a FABULOUS weekend!

Thank You card using AP Cartridge & Coordinating Stamps

Here is the second swap project that I completed yesterday.  Again, I made 10 of these babies!  This card was created using my CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  I just can't seem to get enough of that particular cartridge at the moment.... it is my FAVORITE!  The possibilities with it are absolutely ENDLESS!  I may have to give it a little break, but we'll just have to see!  Along with the AP cartridge, I used another one of my favorites from the current CTMH Autumn/Winter Idea Book.... the 'Sanoma' papers.  I love the colors, the design of the papers, I LOVE everything about them and you will probably be seeing many more projects by me featuring these particular papers!  Well, I hope that you all have a FaBuLoUs Thursday... only one more day until the weekend!  Enjoy!

New Swap Card (Patriotic)

Happy Wednesday Everyone!  I have spend the last couple of days trying to catch up with a couple of swaps that are do to go out.  The one shown below is a '4th of July' card that I made for one of the swaps. I believe that this may actually be my very first patriotic card that I made (I actually made 10 of these) and really had a great time with it.  Wasn't too sure about the bling on it, but I think it works.  For this card I used CTMH's 'Elemental' papers along with the 'American Celebration' stamp set.  Hope you all enjoy!

Masculine Anniversary Card

Sure hope this finds everyone having a FABULOUS Saturday/weekend so far!  I am having a GREAT weekend thanks to the Tigers winning the other night and giving the Rangers a home field advantage, so that the hubby and I can go enjoy a nice night at the Rangers stadium!  So, to surprise him for our 13th anniversary, which he missed because he was away for work, I created the card below which had an interior pocket (which I forgot to photograph) to house his TX Rangers game ticket!  I am sooooo excited to be celebrating our anniversary this way!

The card was created using CTMH's 'Dreamin' papers.  I love these papers because they work perfect for masculine cards and scrapbook pages.  Hope you enjoy the card below... I am now off to get ready for the game!  Have a great rest of the weekend!

Simple Halloween Mini Slider Cards & Door Hangers

With Halloween just around the corner, I decided to whip up a couple of simple but adorable projects!  I will also be offering these two items at an upcoming vendor show.  The first is a door hanger.  I created the door hanger using my Cricut 'Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More' cartridge along with CTMH's new 'Mischief' papers (X7144B) and CTMH's 'All Hallows Eve' (C1462) stamp set.  For the goo at the bottom I used a Martha Stewart Punch and the "BOO" was also cut using my Cricut.  The slider card is probably one of my favorites!  For this project I simply used solid color cardstock and stamped the background with CTMH's August SOTM 'Wicked' and the "Happy Halloween" with the 'Say It In Style' (D1283) stamp set.  Hope you all enjoy and have a FABULOUS Thursday!

Cricut Birthday Cards for Nephew! SO CUTE!

Here are a couple of birthday cards that I created for my little nephew, Nathan.  I am really happy with the way they turned out and how stinkin' cute they are!!!  For these two cards I used Create a Critter and Paper Dolls for Everyday. Enjoy!

Back in the game!

Good morning and happy Wednesday to all!  Whew!  It has been crazy non-stop busy around here lately!  The kiddos are now in their third week of school and I feel as if I am FINALLY caught up with all of my major cleaning/organizing around this place!  Hopefully this will make for more scrappin' time!

I was able to get a few projects in over the summer (not as many as I would have liked) while the kiddos were home, but we all know how difficult it is to get anything done with them around! lol!  Only real downfall over the summer was not keeping up with my blog.  Which mean a TON of projects to upload and share with all of you!  I'll start off by sharing these cute 4"x4" cards that I slipped into my kiddos binders on their first day of school.  They love finding little notes/cards that mommy sneaks into their backpacks or lunchboxes!  Enjoy & have a FaBuLoUs day!
