We survived the storms here in North Texas with minimal to no damage! Our main issue was flooding, seeing that we received 5" of rain in less than a 24 hr period. But I am happy to say that we didn't encounter any tornadoes or hail! The rain was MUCH appreciated here, seeing that we've been under water restrictions, burn bans, and haven't had much rain in the area for quite some time.
During these soggy wet few days, I did manage to squeeze in some crafty time! I received my PaperWishes March Card Kit on Monday and have been working on some of the cards included. The kit has some REALLY cute cards in it and, again, I absolutely love this kit for those simple, quick, yet BEAUTIFUL card creations. My favorite part is that in each month's kit, they include one Christmas card creation. Being that it is my FAVORITE time of the year, I now get a little taste of it each month when creating with the PaperWishes card kits! :) On top of working on those, I have also been taking Tim Holtz'sCreative Chemistry 101class online. LOVE LOVE LOVE... then again, it's Tim Holtz and what's there NOT to love! :)
I may be MIA until about next week since both of my kiddos have some big competitions/tournaments coming up this weekend. And tomorrow I will be enjoying The Hunger Games which I am sooooo excited to see! Really LOVED reading the trilogy and ready to see it on the big screen! :)
Until next time... here are a few of my creations from the PaperWishes March Card Kit ... which were SUPER fun to create, fast to put together, and turned out so stinkin adorable! Here's hoping you all have a FABULOUS Thursday!
Good morning everyone and Happy Manic Monday! After what seemed like a LOOONNNGGG spring break, the kiddos are back in school! Unfortunate for me, this means LOTS of cleaning today in order to get this house into pre-spring break clean. Speaking of spring, it looks like we'll be getting a taste of it here in Fort Worth, TX with severe storms rolling in in just a few hours and lasting through Wednesday. They have already issued flash flood warnings around the area and are also talking about strong winds, hail, and possible tornadoes. So... we shall brace ourselves for the next couple of days and I will be sure to take advantage of the wet weather and hopefully get MUCH scrappin' done!

Happy St. Patty's Day everyone... and Happy Saturday as well!
I spent a FABULOUS four and a half hours today at The Little Blue House for their 'Ranger Workshop'! If it has to do with Tim Holtz... well, chances are... I'm in! :)
We created a total of FIFTEEN reference tags today during the workshop! Whew! Each tag features some artful techniques that were taught to the WONDERFUL ladies at The LBH by Tim Holtz himself! And... they were gracious enough to hold this workshop for us TIM HOLTZ ADDICTS! I will be sure to tell you more about the fabulous workshop in a later post.
For today, I wanted to share a quick St. Patty's Day card that I whipped up not too long ago. Isn't it just precious?!?! I absolutely LOVE the look of this 'vintagy' card! <3
I hope that you are all having a FABULOUS Saturday and St. Patrick's Day! I am off to have some dinner followed by ice cream with the kiddos... whose spring break is quickly coming to an end!

It has been quite a busy week here with my kiddos being on spring break and all. So I wanted to make sure that I got this post up before we head out to Mountasia for a fun filled day!
The cards that I am about to share are a bit different. Just recently, I did something that I NEVER thought I would actually do.... I signed up for a monthly card kit club by Paper Wishes... and let me tell you...
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!
I had lost my mojo there for a while and would find myself just staring at piles of paper with no clue as to what I wanted to do. I'm sure you've all been there at one point or another!!! This has turned out to be a GREAT solution for me for those blank moments! :) And it's also a great way to whip up a card in no time... by simply following the instructions and having EVERYTHING provided for you to do so.
LOVE it! <3
Below are the first two cards that I created from the February kit. I love how they turned out and was amazed by the simplicity and the little time they each took to create. I had both done in absolutely NO TIME at all! And the great thing is that I can use the sketches with other papers and embellies that I currently have stashed in my scraproom!
So stay tuned every month for more monthly kit cards. I'll be sure to share a few of them each month with all of you! I am so excited and cannot wait to receive my March kit in the mail!

Hello everyone! Just a quick post here to share today's creations!
I FINALLY cleaned up my scraproom today and was able to get some creating done! I have a super hard time getting anything accomplished in there if there is a HUGE mess... and in my case, it looked as if a tornado had passed through my scraproom! So... today... I MADE myself clean AND organize my scrappy space! And what a difference THAT made! I was on my stool and creating in no time! :)
The first card was created using CTMH Lucy papers as well as my CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge (which you are all still able to get FREE this month... clickhere for more info!). It is just a simple 'just because/friend' card that I can send out at any time. The Lucy papers are STILL my favorite papers from the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book! Just can't stop creating with them! :)
(Inside)
The next card is, again, just a simple 'Birthday' card. As you can see, I like to keep things quick and simple! For this one I used CTMH's Pemberley papers as well as some simple embellishments.

Morning all! Whew... another super busy week in my household! Does it EVER slow down??? lol!
Well, I have FINALLY gotten back into the groove of things.... at least it seems so for now! I have been working on some St. Patrick's Day cards for a couple of swaps as well as some to send out to loved ones. These first couple of cards I tried to keep fairly simple and quick and am quite happy with the turnout. :)
I have also FINALLY pulled out my Martha Stewart Score Board, which I have owned for quite a while, and have began making matching envelopes for my cards. I EVEN went ahead and made matching sleeves for my envies! So proud of myself! lol!

Here's hoping you all have a FaBuLoUs Friday & weekend! I will be busy this weekend with my DD's dance competitions, so I don't see much crafting getting done for me! :( Nevertheless, it should be a busy, wonderful weekend... there's nothing like watching my baby girl ROCK IT on stage!
Happy Sunday! It is a BeAuTiFuL day here in Fort Worth, TX as it has been for quite a while here! It's really hard to believe that we have already hit the month of March and really haven't had much of a winter here. So, as always, we intend to take advantage of this gorgeous day and head out to do a little fishing. There's nothing like a good breath of fresh air!
But, before I head out with the fam, I wanted to leave you all with a few tags that I recently created. I recently got into creating tags when I signed up for a Tim Holtz '12 Tags of Christmas' class at The Little Blue House. I have had such fun crating these tags and plan to create a whole lot more of them! So please enjoy these creations for now and have a BLESSED Sunday!
Hello friends! I have just celebrated two milestones within the last couple of weeks... one being a MAJOR one! I celebrated my Birthday on the 22nd as well as my ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY on the 17th!!! It has been one year and 128 posts since I joined this FABULOUS world of crafting and blogging... and I could not have reached this milestone without all of YOU... my WONDERFUL readers & crafty friends! I still cannot believe that it has been just one year since I crafted my first card ever and started blogging!
For those of you that don't know, this ALL began with my dear hubby purchasing me a Cricut Expression for Christmas 2010. I had NEVER crafted a thing in my life before that! I remember sitting there for a few days just staring at the machine, thinking "Okay, now what?". It wasn't long before I got my Cricut up and running... thanks to Google and all of YOUR fabulous blogs! I ventured into a hobby that I can't believe I lived without for so long! I have been hooked since day one... the day I discovered My Pink Stampers tutorial videos. :) And I must say, it has been an AMAZING journey ever since! I have learned a PLETHORA of tips and techniques... from cardmaking to scrapbooking, tag making, ATCs, and so forth! I now own a REDONKULOUS amount of crafty supplies and also have my very own craft room!!!! :)
Crafting and cardmaking has been more than just a hobby for me this past year. It has been THERAPY! It has gotten me through good times and bad. It has become my stress reliever, my 'go to' when I am having a bad day and am down in the dumps.
So... to extend this celebration with all of YOU... I am having a ONE YEAR BLOGIVERSARY GiVeAwAy!!!! That's right.... it's time to give away some AWESOME goodies! And since this is such a huge milestone for me, I'd like to make this GiVeAwAy EXTRA special and easy peasy!
All you have to do is become a follower, 'like' my Facebook Page and leave a comment below this post letting me know that you have done so! If you are already a follower and a fan of my Facebook Page, just leave a comment stating that you are! Like I said... EaSy PeAsY! Also, if you happen to have an extra minute or two to spare, please spread the word to your friends and family on your blog or Facebook! This is not required, but will be greatly appreciated! :)
The GiVeAwAy will close on Sunday, March 18th at midnight with the WINNER being announce on Monday, March 19th! Again, I am so blessed to be able to celebrate with all of YOU!
