Hello everyone and Happy Thursday!
We survived the storms here in North Texas with minimal to no damage! Our main issue was flooding, seeing that we received 5" of rain in less than a 24 hr period. But I am happy to say that we didn't encounter any tornadoes or hail! The rain was MUCH appreciated here, seeing that we've been under water restrictions, burn bans, and haven't had much rain in the area for quite some time.
During these soggy wet few days, I did manage to squeeze in some crafty time! I received my PaperWishes March Card Kit on Monday and have been working on some of the cards included. The kit has some REALLY cute cards in it and, again, I absolutely love this kit for those simple, quick, yet BEAUTIFUL card creations. My favorite part is that in each month's kit, they include one Christmas card creation. Being that it is my FAVORITE time of the year, I now get a little taste of it each month when creating with the PaperWishes card kits! :) On top of working on those, I have also been taking Tim Holtz's Creative Chemistry 101 class online. LOVE LOVE LOVE... then again, it's Tim Holtz and what's there NOT to love! :)
I may be MIA until about next week since both of my kiddos have some big competitions/tournaments coming up this weekend. And tomorrow I will be enjoying The Hunger Games which I am sooooo excited to see! Really LOVED reading the trilogy and ready to see it on the big screen! :)
Until next time... here are a few of my creations from the PaperWishes March Card Kit ... which were SUPER fun to create, fast to put together, and turned out so stinkin adorable! Here's hoping you all have a FABULOUS Thursday!
